Hashtag (#)

I will start with the word hashtag which is very popular lately, mostly on Twitter and Instagram but recently also on Facebook.

For example, if you post a photo of your cat on Instagram you can add some hashtags, like #cat, #cute #sleepycat, etc. Or if you write something about your cat on Twitter and add similiar hashtags, people who are fond of cats will find your posts because they will, for example search for pictures of cute cats.

Your posts are also easily found that way and other people can retweet them or like them. That is the key to get more followers.

So, if you want to know what people on Twitter think of your favourite TV show, just add its name with a hasthag, and voila! There you have it. :)
